Description
Beef Tendons
These Beef Tendons are of variable thickness and length (7 – 9″ long), have very little smell and are longer and heavier than any of the other tendons we carry. Tendons are a fairly long lasting chew, and highly desired by the majority of dogs.
Tendons are rich in collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and elastin, which are nutrients that may have some health benefits for joints, skin, and hair. Tendons are also low in fat, so this is a very appropriate chew for dogs who are on a weight management regimen.
This is an inexpensive chew, compared to how long it takes the average dog to consume it. Tendons are a natural source of collagen and glucosamine. This chew is lower in fat compared to treats like roasted bones and trachea, so it’s a little easier to digest for those dogs with sensitive stomachs. Tendons are also a good option for teething puppies.
Chew Time: A long lasting natural dog chew for most dogs, a moderately lasting chew for large dogs.
